A brain child of DPS Siliguri and Fulbari fraternity, Legatio has already set a high benchmark of debating, diplomacy, oratory and communication. Offering real life lessons on self-confidence and team work, enabling the delegates to face challenges head on and learning from them, Legatio renders a unique platform for the future diplomats to adapt, grow and evolve to help them become proficient future citizens of our burgeoning global world with ever dissolving barriers.
Legatio brings a wide array of international and national simulations and provides the delegates a once in a lifetime opportunity to evolve as empathetic global citizens who show interest for current world events and willing to step in to make a difference and shape a brave new world where diplomats will wield pen and not arms to resolve issues.
Legatio has evolved into a maxim expressing the immunity of diplomats to foster open communication without fear and coercion.

The world today needs persistent dreamers, bold decision makers and visionaries who will shoulder the responsibility of shaping the future.
Like every other initiative of DPS Siliguri, Legatio 3.0 envisages to create a dynamic platform for the future diplomats to promote diplomacy, to hone leadership and critical thinking skills, to deliberate upon the gravest crises that looms large over humanity and come to a consensus to find resolutions.
We are committed to give them opportunities to hone niche skill sets that will help them transcend self-limiting beliefs, maximize their potentials and navigate life’s challenges to emerge as stronger and more resilient individuals.
As New Age India increasingly emerges in the global forum taking up leadership roles in combating climate change, fighting terrorism, empowering the marginalised, finding lasting solutions to the ongoing conflicts we need more empowered and competent youth who are not blasè to these issues and are eager to come forward from their comfort zones and make a difference with their innovative ideas. By converging the advanced ideas of the Occidental and the ancient wisdom of the Oriental world, Legatio 3.0 will create an elite forum for discussions and dialogues to redress these issues.
I am convinced that Legatio will provide unique opportunities to our young diplomats to be exposed to a wide array of issues and come up with robust and revolutionary ideas to make a difference.
